Tomorrow’s Women - Chester has officially launched!

Tomorrow’s Women’s annual event to raise awareness for the elimination of violence against women and girls 2022.

Tomorrow’s Women is proud that once again our Community Garden has received an Outstanding from the Britain in Bloom Awards 2022.

Tomorrow’s Women is thrilled to announce that on the 29th June 2022, our CEO, Operations Manager and Estates Manager collected the keys to our Chester branch in Upper Northgate Street.

In celebration of the sculpture coming to Birkenhead, Tomorrow’s Women hosted an event on the 22nd July to promote anti-violence and to educate the women on the effects of violent behaviour.

Tomorrow’s Women is bringing bees to its Centre as part of the Horta Project. By bringing the bees to our Centre, we hope to be selling our own homemade honey in the near future.

We ran a fundraiser on the 29th June incorporating our popular boxercise class with the musical talents of our very own DJ Emma Lundy, to raise money for our Centre.

Tomorrow’s Women have been handing out hampers to our women in need for. These hampers accompanied by a free hoodie have been lovingly bought by us with money from Wirral Council’s local household fund.

This International Women’s Day involved not only our annual event, held virtually, with guest—speakers but a music event held by local business Future Yard to raise money for our Charity.

We are happy to share that we have received funding from the Royal Horticultural Society towards our community garden. As such, we are launching a new project: The Horta Project to put that funding to good use.

Following the demand for our Christmas Hampers, generously donated to us by Ben from Bon Plumbing Services and The Hive Wirral, we are sourcing Winter Hampers for our women who are struggling during the financial strain post-Christmas.
