Christmas Hampers

Following the demand for our Christmas Hampers, we are sourcing Spring Hampers for our women who are struggling during the financial strain pre-Easter.

Our Christmas Hampers were generously donated to us by both Bon Plumbing Services and The Hive Wirral Youth Zone who gave us 50 hampers in total filled with food to distribute to the women. We also received sweets and treats from the Wirral Belle’s Women’s Institute that were added to the hampers. We always love donations of any kind, but these groups went above and beyond to help us to support our women by donating this food to us.

These were very well-received by our women as they helped to make that little bit of difference over the Christmas period. Below is a quote from one of our recipients:

“It has been difficult this year in general. But this week a lot has happened and having Christmas on top of that I didn’t think I would be able to cope. But then Tomorrow’s Women rang me up to told me I would be receiving a hamper and I burst into tears. It was such a kind gesture and one I never thought I’d receive; I wouldn’t have been able to do a lot of things without the help from TW and the Christmas hamper I was lucky and kind enough to receive was the cherry on top of the lovely services they provide!”

Now, for our Spring Hampers we want to meet that demand by planning to deliver hampers full of non-perishables. With funding from Wirral Council, we are purchasing products that will then be distributed by our staff to women in need.
