Tomorrow’s Women were lucky enough to secure “Eurogrant” funds from Culture Liverpool in order to run a week of exciting activities for the women to celebrate Eurovision 2023.
We ran a number of activities including bunting making, Ukrainian Flower crown making, sing-alongs, and poetry & writing.
It was important that we took part in activities that not only celebrated Eurovision, but also gave a nod to 2022 winners Ukraine.
The week ended in a celebration of Eurovision with food, dancing, music, fun, quizzes and more.
At Tomorrow’s Women Chester, our Admin officer Emma made a traditional Ukrainian dish for everyone to enjoy, whilst at Tomorrow’s Women Wirral, the women enjoyed a delicious scouse.

The activities supported the women in instilling a sense of pride in their own nation as well as educating them on other countries and their traditions. Each day we posted facts about previous winner’s countries as well as a traditional recipe that they could try at home.
The whole week was a fun filled and exciting time, with both centres decorated fully decorated for the women to enjoy.
