We are expanding our Charity into the Cheshire West and Chester Area!!
This exciting news has created an excellent opportunity to work as an Empowerment Advisor in a dynamic, expanding, high profile, award winning women’s Charity - Tomorrow’s Women (TW).
The role of Empowerment Advisor is a crucial and varied role within our women's centre, particularly with the anticipated increase of women in need of TWW following COVID. You will be working with the women, providing advice and support and encouraging women down a positive path - working closely with women in the Criminal Justice System who are completing community orders in supporting them to make positive lifestyle changes, access new opportunities, learn and grow - as well as working with women from the wider community with varying support needs.
Our Senior Empowerment Advisor Nicky finds the job exceptionally rewarding:
"It great to see the positive lifestyle changes that are happening, and I get great pleasure seeing women support other women who are starting their journey at the centre - the role of Empowerment Advisor is expanding to provide so much learning and even more amazing opportunities.
To make a good EA she says you need to be "a good listener, knowledgable, empathetic and adaptable."
Our newest Empowerment Advisor Lizzy has learnt a great deal after joining the team in October:
"I joined the Tomorrow’s Women family in October 2020 and though it was very different due to COVID, my time so far has been filled with reward, challenge and fulfilment. I would encourage any woman who wants to have a genuine and significant impact upon other women’s lives with often overlapping complex support needs and issues, to take the challenge and apply!"
Closing date for applications: Wednesday 21st June @ 12pm
Interviews to take place (provisionally): Wednesday 30th June & Thursday 1st July
Proposed Commencement date (sooner if possible) : Monday 2nd August 2021
