Tomorrow's Women Wirral was launched in September 2011 and its success led it to full charity status in 2012. It is a project designed to benefit all women 18+ in the community to make permanent, positive lifestyle changes. Criminalised women are frequently among the most vulnerable individuals in society, often suffering from abuse, substance misuse & mental health problems. It is for these reasons that the existence of supportive Women's centres exist and are crucial to rehabilitation.Read more

Want to empower women? Make a positive change to women's lives? Have a varied role, that is...
The partnership between ReachOut and Tomorrows Women has seen many local people improve their overall wellbeing and confidence, women are actively encouraged and enabled to feel empowered to break down their personal barriers to reach their ultimate goals. In the past few months 4 women have already been successfully supported into sustainable employment through our joint partnership work and combined person centred approach.
We’re delighted to be helping Tomorrow’s Women provide a fully integrated service to support women.
In my capacity as a Family Support Worker I work with families to improve conditions for children and one of my main sources of recommendation is Tomorrow’s Women Wirral. TW is a jewel in Birkenhead’s Crown; a place of positivity that helps every woman realise they can be whoever they want to be and encourages every woman to be, do and achieve all that they can.
I really enjoy coming to TWW as there is a very diverse group of women who access the service. I really enjoy volunteering here of a Friday as feel part of the community.
“TW is an invaluable resource to the women of Wirral. The range of support and services on offer to all is unmatched anywhere else in Merseyside. The staff and volunteers have made us feel very welcome and truly strive to find the best support available for the women accessing the centre. We run a weekly family law legal clinic at the centre and have experienced first hand the positive impact that TW has upon its users. I continue to applaud the work that they do and I have never hesitated in recommending the centre to clients and other contacts”.
We really value TWW and refer many of our clients. The timetables have a great mix of activities – something for everyone! It’s a much needed service providing valuable support to the community.
We have been lucky enough to attend Tomorrow’s Women on a couple of occasions, firstly for the International Women’s Day event and then again to promote our Borough of Culture volunteering opportunities. Both times we received a really warm welcome and got to hear from, and speak to, inspirational women. The atmosphere is really inclusive and we are already excited to get involved with future events!
